應徵項目：管弦樂指揮專案教師1名
一、 公告期程：即日起至109年4月10日止。延長至109年4月25日截止
二、 應徵資料：
（一） 個人履歷：詳細聯絡方式、大學以上之學經歷、詳細教學經驗、詳細著作年表或演出年表、最高學歷證書（持國外學歷之畢業證書需有駐外單位認證）、學碩博成績單、教育部教師資格證書，以及其他相關證書。
（二） 學經歷或具體成就（下列至少一項）：
1. 具博士學位
2. 助理教授以上職級
3. 於國內外職業樂團擔任指揮（包含助理指揮）工作9年以上者
4. 曾獲國際大賽獎項，且於國內外職業樂團擔任指揮（包含助理指揮）工作3年以上者
（三） 演出資料：送繳五場以上管弦樂團指揮之不同曲目且具代表性之公開演出音樂會資料，曲目包含三個時代且不同配器的曲種，如交響曲、協奏曲、歌劇、管弦合唱樂曲...等，送繳之音樂會資料應包括節目內容、公開演出證明、現場整場之影音資料。
（四） 著作（下列至少一項）：
1. 博士學位論文或現任職級後出版之論文著作
2. 公開演出音樂會之書面詮釋創作報告
（五）教學計劃：能教授課程之教學大綱，以及此課程之教學經驗或研究計畫。
（六）推薦信兩封，並提供推薦人之聯絡方式。
三、 指定任教科目：
系所合開課程：合奏（管弦樂團）
碩士班課程：主修樂器（管弦樂指揮）、管弦樂曲目研究、總譜彈奏
學士班課程：指揮學（器樂）
四、 起聘日期：109學年度第一學期。
本職務以專案教師起聘，職缺聘期以一年一聘為原則，應受教學、服務、輔導之評鑑，聘期由系教評會決定之。
其他說明：
1. 此專案教職係以約聘方式進用之專任教師。
2. 待遇比照同職級專任教師支給。
3. 專案聘任期間表現優良者，經審核通過後，得改聘為專任教師。

Announcement for Orchestral Conducting Faculty Position
Full-time Teaching Position*
Institution: Department of Music, Tunghai University, Taichung, Taiwan
Application Deadline: April 10, 2020 April 25, 2020
Qualifications: Applicants should have at least one of the following qualifications:
1. Doctoral degree
2. Assistant professorship
3. Nine years of working experience as a conductor or assistant conductor
of a professional orchestra
4. Three years of working experience as a conductor or assistant conductor
of a professional orchestra and winner of international competitions
Application Materials:
1. Curriculum vitae. Should include graduate degrees and detailed
descriptions of all performing and teaching experience
2. Academic transcripts for all graduate coursework
3. Photocopies of degree certificates
Notice: Degree certificates from schools outside of Taiwan must be certified
by the embassy or consulate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of R. O. C.
(Taiwan) from the country in which they were received.
4. Photocopies of awards and certificates
5. Five recorded performances
Performances of symphonies, concerti, operas, or works for chorus and
orchestra may be included. (DVDs and links accepted only)
Programs for all performances should be included.
6. Publications. Doctoral dissertation abstracts and other publications should
be included.
7. Teaching materials for courses taught. Should include course descriptions
and teaching outlines
8. Two letters of recommendation and references with contact information
Further Information:
Interviews for a select group of finalists will be held in late May or early
June.
The selected applicant will begin work at Tunghai in September 2020.
Performing and teaching responsibilities will include the following:
1. Conducting the university orchestra
2. Teaching a basic conducting course to undergraduates
3. Teaching master’s level courses in orchestral conducting, orchestra
literature, and open-score reading.

Preference shall be given to applicants who are able to speak Mandarin Chinese. Applicants unable to speak Chinese should have a willingness to learn the language.
*The applicant chosen for the position will first be hired on a yearly basis for a period of one to three years. This position will have the same salary as a permanent full-time faculty position. Advancement to a full-time position will be determined by evaluating the teacher’s accomplishments as a performer, teacher, student advisor, and service both within and outside the university.
